Auf der PPI-Konferenz in Prag wurde ein Strategiepapier erarbeitet, dass den Piratenparteien zur Abstimmung vorgelegt werden soll.

Der erste Schritt zum Erfolg in der Europawahl 2014
Die versammelten europäischen Piraten, welche hier unterzeichen, einigen sich auf folgendes:
I. Wir beabsichtigen an den Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament im Jahr 2014 teilzunehmen.
II. Wir erklären die Absicht a) ein gemeinsames Wahlprogramm in die individuellen Programme der jeweiligen Parteien aufzunehmen b) unseren Wahlkampf zu koordinieren c) bei der Realisierung unseres gemeinsamen Programms in Europäischen Parlament eng zusammenzuarbeiten
III. Das gemeinsame Programm soll sich aus Inhalten über Europäische Politik zusammensetzen, welche von den teilnehmenden Parteien befürwortet wurden. Jede teilnehmende Partei kann zu jedem Vorschlag ihre Meinung vorbringen und über den Stand des Verfahrens berichten.
IV. Wir sind uns darüber einig eine politische Partei auf europäischer Ebene[1] zu etablieren.
V. Wir schlagen diese Erklärung den zuständigen Organen der Europäischen Piratenparteien zur Ratifizierung vor.

The First Step to Succeed in European Parliament Elections 2014
The assembled European Pirates signed below agreed on the following:
I. We intend to run in the elections to the European Parliament in the year 2014.
II. We declare the intent a) to have a common election programme included in the individual programmes of the respective parties, b) to coordinate our election campaigns, c) to cooperate closely in the European Parliament on the realisation of our common programme.
III. The common programme shall consist of components regarding European policies that have been approved by participating parties. Every participating party will be able to set forth its opinion and report the state of its procedure regarding every proposal.
IV. We agree to establish a political party at European level [1].
V. We propose this declaration for ratification to the competent bodies of the European Pirate Parties.
